Cooper is 3 1/2 Years Old

Wow!  Where has the time gone?  In 6 more months I will have a 4 year old!  Cooper, you are such smart and witty little boy!  The things you come up with everyday just simply amaze your Daddy and I!  Here recently Uncle BoBo has been talking to you way too much! :)  He had a conversation with you about how his real name is Jeff and that his nickname was BoBo.  Well, you had no part in it, you would reply to him by saying, "NO!  Your name is Bo!"  Anyways, now you think it is a game!  SOOO... you have changed your own name to Jeff.  My name is Mommy Jeff, we have Daddy Jeff, Mema Jeff, Grandma Jeff, Grandpa Jeff, Jill Jeff and Steven Jeff!!!!  Everyone is Jeff and you just think it is hilarious!  You were at Mema's house one evening and there was a last minute showing on Mema and Papa's house.  You stayed at the house with Mema during the showing.  The real estate agent was very friendly and asked what your name was, "My name's Jeff!"  you say!  The agent replies, "Well, my name is Jeff too!"  What a coincedence!!!  Mema didn't bother trying to explain anything to them... but for that short amount of time that evening there were a few people who really thought your name was Jeff!  :)  You just crack me up Cooper!

Ever since Peyton was born you have been such a great helper!  You love to throw away diapers for us and get anything that we need for your baby sister!  You are such a great big brother and I know you will always look out for your little sister!

You also like to tell us what to say when we are having a conversation :) Cooper:  "Mommy, tell Peyton, Where's your big brother?  Then tell her that I'm right here!"  It is so funny!!

We get sooooo many great compliments from Lisa about you!  You are such a polite young man at daycare and Mommy and Daddy couldn't be prouder!  Lisa says that she wishes she had a lot more kids like you!! :)

You have learned so much these last 6 months:

• You know all of your uppercase letters and some lowercase.
• You know about 75% of your sounds.
• You almost have your right and left figured out.
• You LOVE to play alphabet board games!  You are really good at pointing out the first sound in the words!
• You love to work on puzzles!
• You love to trace... especially your name!
• You can identify all your shapes!
• You can identify all your numbers 1-10!
• You also like to play with your Math puzzles from Aunt Vickie... you can count the pictures and match it with the correct number all by yourself!
• We are working on learning how to cut, as of right now, you just like to snip at the edges of paper and make big messes!
• You love to watch Calliou, SuperWhy, Dino Dan, Dinosaur Train and Go Diego Go!
• Your imagination amazes me!  Sometimes I'm not quite sure where you come up with some of the stuff you say when you are off playing by yourself! :)
• You still love your trains and your train table!
• Last but not least, you are a GREAT BIG BROTHER!!!  You miss your sister during the day and you always ask me this after we pick you up from daycare, "Did Peyton cry today?"  Mommy says, "Ya, probably a little bit."  You reply, "She just wanted me!  I missed her!"  You are so sweet and I know your love for your sister will grow even more!!!
